SCHOOL LIFE GALLERY 2022-2023

YEAR 6 Buddies with EYFS

Every year the children in Year 6 have to take on a number of responsibilities. Year 6 children act as prefects, play leaders and 'buddies' to children in EYFS. Their role is to help children settle into school and be someone they know. The EYFS children receive a letter from their 'Buddie' before they start school.

What did you do for other people?

We always ask the children to think about others. Here the children are completing a fun run to raise money for children with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (Crohns Disease & Ulcerative Colitis). By the altar in school there are always a trolley and a basket. The children drop items in each week and when they are full they are taken to the food bank. Each small act reminds the children of our Mission: Love God, Work Hard, Be Kind.
